Maybe it's in my blood. My paternal grandparents have had two different motorhomes in my lifetime, and some of my family's best vacation memories were made aboard them. We even drove to my wedding in their motorhome, which was pretty special for me. My great aunt and uncle have a 1978 GMC motorhome, fondly (or not-so-fondly on the days when things are broken! HA!) named Ellie. My maternal grandparents had an itty bitty, teeny weeny trailer camper they parked at the lake. What a wonderful few days in the Smoky Mountains with my Meg-a-roo! We really needed this time to escape real life and worries and cell phone signal. Though, we did drive to find cell phone signal after 24 hours so our moms wouldn't start planning our funerals AND (mostly) so we could get burgers from Five Guys instead of eating Clif bars for dinner (again).
